Just for context I'm a kiwi in Aus with a background in Nursing for the last 5 years and a weighted GPA of 6.0 and unweighted 6.3.
I've been trying to decide between doing postgraduate study as a way to boost my GPA to something a little more competitive. While I don't think I could possible do anything to get it to the 6.7 that averages some of the more competitive universities, I've had some hope looking at some posts on here with people with a 6.3 GPA being accepted.
The other option I've been considering is doing first year health science at Otago and hope to smash the UCAT to get in that way. Unsure if this would be worth my time and would also be rather limiting to one university.
Any advice on which would be the most ideal way forward is much appreciated.
