I’ve listened to the boys for a few years now, I took acid and watched naruto amv’s using music from the boys in 2020 and have been in love with their music ever since. Someone I know heard the boys whenever I played them, and told me that he started listening to them (quite a lot) ever since I met him. He went to the chicago grey day tour this year and told me he’s done listening to the boys because of that concert. He told me it wasn’t because of anything the boys did, but because of the fans. First of all, he mentioned to me that scrim asked the crowd something along the lines of, “who suffers from depression here?” From my friends perspective, the crowd responded in such a way that made it seem like they were almost flexing their depression, screaming “MEEEEEE🤩🤩🤩”. In addition to this weird thing he noticed, he also saw merch getting thrown into the crowd. He almost caught a T-shirt but instead it went behind him to this kid. A grown ass man and the kid ending up getting in a fucking fight over the shirt. Because of these things, my friend no longer wants to group himself in with the fan base although he still likes their music, I don’t agree with why he doesn’t wanna listen to them anymore, but I do understand his frustration with the fans. Sorry for all the text.
