What is happening

I have a 2003 G35 that feels like it’s not shifting and will hit 3 or 4th gear and stay at like 50mph and rev up and stay at that speed. It will do that for like 30 seconds then shift eventually. It doesn’t make much sense for it to be the transmission because it only has 75,000 miles. Please send me some tips and information if you have ever had the same thing happen to you, or know what it could be.
