Unfortunately I am under NDA, so I would not be able to answer any specific questions about SyNAPSE or PI. I also do not think Knowm Inc has enough general recognition to warrant an AMA.

We did not bet on HPs tech. We have our own, and so do others. The problem is that people equate memristors with "HPs Tech", so if HP announces something like this it negatively affects the perception of everybody working in memristors. I did not apply to work for HP. I did however co-create and advise the DARPA SyNAPSE program that funded HPs memristor work. Oh, and Yuli-Ban does not work with Knowm.
