Our consciousness is the collection of over 100 billions neurons firing over 100 trillion synaptic bridges. The culmination of which forms this seemingly illusory veil of what we call consciousness...
Reddit asks questions and answers questions...
Could you conceive of any means that each of us could be considered neurons and all of our connections amongst each other considered synaptic bridges? With other factors in place that could cause all of this to form a sort of consciousness?
What might that take? AI of course... I imagine... but what might make it alive?
I would propose a sense of ego... a propensity to come to the conclusion that it is special and worthy of existence. A desire to protect itself.
What might you propose?
