Why do so many non Day traders talk down on day trading?
Post Body

I continually see people on reddit on different subs talk down on Day Trading saying how its "gambling and waste of time" etc...

Like i understand it can be some form of gambling if you don't have a strategy and proper risk management.

But saying that you can't make money off of trading and that its better to just give money to broker's to invest for you or put in retirement accounts. im flabbergasted.

Who else here day trades for a living and believes day trading can be a very lucrative career ?
