Feeling overwhelmed after seeing what other traders are doing.
Post Body

I'm not exactly new to trading. I understand risk and money management.

I am currently going through an evaluation with a prop firm for the first time and we are about half way through the challenge 2 weeks in.

I use a strategy I've found and back tested. It works really well in back testing but in practice it just barely generated a profit. (Roughly 1.3 profit factor over about 100 trades)

I'm getting into this full time (unfortunate circumstances lead to this) I have over a years worth of expenses so I'm not exactly foaming at the mouth every morning at my trade desk.

After seeing some posts in here and in r/daytrading as well as meeting some people who trade, I have a massive pit in my stomach. I feel like fish out of water.

These people have double my profit factor. And they have maximum drawdowns as high as I do but with more size. And are ending every day green. I feel like a failure and even after spending almost a decade trying to be good I'm mediocre at best.

I have a strategy but how do I make it better?
