The leak takes the form of a large archive file containing records, memos, e-mails, pictures and scanned documents covering a period of several decades that is widely distributed across the internet via torrenting and mirror websites. The memos and e-mails in particular implicate a number of historic and present-day high-profile individuals actively working to downplay, discredit, shelve or silence any kind of new innovation that might threaten the status-quo. What sets this particular leak aside from others is the inclusion of a well documented technical file that details how many of these advancements are designed or function, to the point where anyone can easily test and verify the validity of the information.
One of the more significant revelations was that the Pons and Fleischmann Cold Fusion experiment during the 1990's was not only viable but extremely promising and was agressively discredited and surpressed at the time to prevent further research into it. But that is only one example, and records also show that some of the less effective advances had been slowly adoped by the industry themselves in a controlled manner to maintain the illusion of actual "advancement" over time.
How would the world respond to such a revelation and what sort of impact might this have moving forward into the future?
