Hero a day till the 31st?

I thought this offer ran until tomorrow but when I got on today it wouldn't let me reject the hero (war machine) and selected it for me. I'm basically wondering if anyone else had this problem today or if my game just went buggy. Thanks for any input!
It did pop up and say the same thing it has all week if you reject you have till the 31st to select if not you'll be given the last one blah blah blah
