Howdy All,
So I finally finished my first 3D design in Fusion 360 (so proud!) and I exported it as an STL file and imported it into Cura and I noticed straight away that the height of the outer extrude is taller than what I specified as the height in Fusion 360.
So in Fusion 360 I specified the extrude height as 5.80mm but when I export to STL and import into Cura, it says the Z height is 13.22 mm which has me baffled. I don't think it has anything to do with the layer height or anything like that because I haven't even sliced it yet and the Z height does not appear to change when I change the Profile (in Cura). Oh and interesting to note is that the X & Y dimensions in Cura are just about spot on. It's just the Z height that is off by quite a margin.
Does anyone know why this could be happening?
Thanks,
Martin
