I've been modeling in Fusion for quite some time, but am only recently starting to dip my toes into CAM.
On this 2D Pocket op, can anyone tell me why the toolpath is starting in the middle of the pocket, then works to one side, then has to travel back over to the middle, then work to the other side? And can I change it so it starts just at one end of the pocket and works its way all the way over?
I understand that this small of a travel move doesn't add a huge amount of time to this particular job (even though I'm cutting about a dozen of these pieces), but I'd like to understand.
Let me know if anyone can help me figure this out (old NYC CNC and Lars videos didn't seem to clarify this), or if you need any other screenshots or info.
Thanks in advance!
