Throat hurts

So, ive ran into a problem with my 3d printed mask. If i put it on, the inner edge of the jaw is pressing hard against my throat, which hurts. Softening it with cushions isnt really helping either really. It could be an issue with the weight distribution, however, i cant add anything to the back since its open and elastic bands are there, to make it wearable. Any help?
