I stow away on your ship, assuming it to be mere cargo delivery, but I find a rude awakening upon being caught and captured by the crew of the pirate vessel. They bring me to you, the captain, to learn what to do with a stowaway like me. Perhaps, with a bit of interrogation and compromise, you can find some use for me on this ship in exchange for not tossing me overboard...

— House In The Woods: I'm a curious explorer of new places, and the woods of a nearby town have me intrigued, especially since the locals talk of a mysterious house hidden deep within the forest that no one has ever returned from. I seek it out, wandering and getting lost a few times in the thick darkness of the midnight woods, but eventually, I actually find the place — your place. And just what sort of creature awaits me? A vampire? Demon? Ghost? Even just a normal creature? Who knows what lurks in these halls that has the town so frightened... and who knows what that creature might do to me...

— Save the Race: Through circumstances explained later, I wind up becoming the key in saving a group from extinction. Are you the lone leader of a dead wolf pack? The last few dragons of your once-big clan? Some sort of sentient creature that retreated underground with the remainder of your kind to avoid being hunted/killed/found out? Get creative with it! When I stumble upon you (and possibly others, if you aren't the last one) and you learn I'm able to carry young, surely, with the end of your kind on the line, you'll consider putting that knowledge to good use...
