Good evening, y'all. I'd like to address this community in light of the recent disruption.

As the current top posts suggest, there has been a single individual that has been running rampant on this subreddit, spewing vitriol and posting images that are not allowed on this subreddit. They have apparently had their account deleted by Reddit, and I've banned their alt.

This is the first major incident since I've started modding this subreddit over the last 8 months, and 2 months since the only other moderator has since ceded their position for personal reasons. This community has grown substantially in that time, and I'm sorry that I was unable to address this problem sooner. I myself was asleep when they started, and was at work when they were dealt with. I typically check the subreddit's once a day or so due to the fairly low average mod traffic. Many thanks for everyone sending in modmail and private messaging me on Reddit and Discord for bringing my attention to the issue and the urgency involved.

With that said, I'm open for moderator applications to ensure this doesn't happen again. If you're interested, please send a modmail in with your general availability. I'll generally be biased towards those with experience moderating similar communities in both size and content. Any further details we can hash out from there on out.
