FMA 2003 ending and The Conqueror of Shamballa

I finished brotherhood a while ago and I watched the 2003 version and I enjoyed it but I didn't like the ending and I watched the movie after the events of the 2003 ending, even with the movie I just didn't like how it ended, did anyone else feel the same about the ending of the 2003 version and movie like confused, not satisfied and a bit upset?
