-Being new to this subreddit, it's only fair that I preface this by saying that I'm not a huge anime watcher so I don't know how most animes end in terms of similarities and everything, but when I find a good series I'll watch it all. -
Having just finished the original FMA and Brotherhood, all I can say is wow.... I binge watched the hell out of them ( I think I finished them both in 5-6 days). They have been absolutely outstanding and I don't want it to end..... I love both in their own right but I don't know what to do anymore. I feel as if there needs to be something more... Brotherhood was wrapped up well especially compared to the original, but there is this huge disconnect in how Winry and Ed end up together with children after that moment at the train station. The scene has similar feeling to the scene of Hohenheim leaving Trisha suggesting that this was a goodbye like I won't be around enough for us, and yet Winry and Ed get married... And let's not forget about Al! I want to know about his travels all across the world and studying with May in Xing... I don't want to upset anyone but I just wish there was an independent series about their lives after. My mind wants to believe it will happen but the likelihood that it will is slim to none :( .
So some questions: Do you want another FMA series focused on Ed's relationship with Winry as well as the travels of Ed and Al across the world? Or maybe just an all encompassing one focused on the lives of the characters after the defeat of Father?
What was your favorite moment from both series?
