Watching FMA 2003 for the first after rewatching FMAB, and the immediate differences I see 6 minutes in are how FMA EP 1 is FMAB EP 3. (Sun God Leto) It feels different from it's FMAB counterpart though. AL immediately or already knows alchemy, offering to fix the radio because he broke it. more focus on actually drawing transmutation circles. In FMAB, AL doesn't learn alchemy for himself till episode 15. Lust in EP 1??? Rose Is black, LMFAO. Church guy healed a bird demonstrating the healing prowess of the philosopher stone, and created statues, and there's a Red Wine Fountain in the city, where in FMAB he just created diamond roses and statues. I can see how rose was tricked this way easier, actually seeing a living creature get healed. Bird flew off with red eyes too, like the PS. Lust being in EP 1 makes the events of FMAB more clear too, she's actually wandering the city.
Edward actually mentions Alchemists are the Closest to god to Rose. I don't think he says this in FMAB.
Has more of a older seinen vibe to it, maybe it's the old animation. Seems like it'll be a good watch, be back later with more comparisons
