I need some help. 3 days ago we created our product listing. I put the price very low so as to sell units and get our BSR up. I go to check out listing and I see it says "2 sellers". Okay so who just started selling has attached themselves to 200 listings similar to ours. If my product is listed at $19.99 his is listed 19.09. His product isn't prime and is shipping from "France" for $5.95 shipping. This doesn't seem like the usual hijacker. Why is he on 200 listings? It's a new account.
I did a test buy but it won't come for nearly 2 months. November 21st.
I'm terrified. Here are some of my questions:
- Can I raise my price? What happens if I raise my price from $19.99 to $49.99? Will he get the buy box?
- Can he change my listing photos or title?? What if he gets the by box can he then?
- I contacted him 72 hours ago with a warning via the "contact seller" but I've not gotten a response. Can I use this against him??
- I contacted seller performance and of course they tell me a generic link to file a complaint. This doesn't seem like a typical hijacker. I doubt he has my product.
I checked his inventory and it says he has 600 in stock. It's not even possible.
Is there any blackhat/grayhat solution? I'm freaking out because I need to be able to raise my price as I'm selling at a loss.
Please help. Thank you in advance.
