Is anyone else feeling guilty over having these kinks and then reading/hearing/talking to people that are afraid of the outcome of the american elections (I'm canadian so the results will sorta impact me but not directly)? Right now the political maga-are-unstoppable/powerful-right-doms kink (idk the official name) is hitting really hard because of the amount of unknowns about it and seeing news about how the election might be a lot closer than previously thought (maybe?)

I feel really guilty though because the same thing that adds to these kinks for me (the sense of risk and danger from someone more powerful than me) is also what's honestly pretty scary to see in the states and know that there's people out there genuinely not in a good spot. Obviously I don't want anyone to get hurt and I only want what's best for people, but these kinks are weird to handle. I know my kinks don't define me or the sort of person I am nor my beliefs, but it also isn't exactly the best kinks to have strongly during this time period.

ps. I'll say the aftercare period here is nice for the folks that need it! Glad that this community also takes people's mental health into consideration!! On the other hand, it removes the outlet this subreddit provides and makes things kinda awkward ig.. idk..
