To the woman in the John Deere shirt at Walmart yesterday in Franklin, NC: what I actually said was, “Walking down the aisle, wrong way, not wearing a mask. Thanks, Karen!”
You responded, “I’m not an idiot. Don’t think I couldn’t hear you.”
You called yourself an idiot in that exchange, in my opinion. And, is idiocy and deafness the same thing? “I’m not deaf, don’t think I couldn’t hear you,” would have made more sense.
I started calling them mouth breathers.
