Trees bearing fruit at different times that in past years
Post Body

Trying to settle an argument and can’t find any resources online. Tree A usually bears fruit earlier than Tree B. This year, Tree B is bearing fruit at the same time as Tree A.

Is there any sort of explanation for why this is occurring?

I’m not a tree person so I was thinking/hypothesizing that maybe the “temperature thresholds” for each tree is different. Meaning that Tree A is less impacted by the change in temperature, the difference between 70 and 80 isn’t as “significant” in impacting the bearing of fruit while Tree B is greatly impacted by smaller changes, like from 70 to 74.

Again, I know nothing about trees.
