Are budget jars effective?
Post Body

I'm really trying to get better at budgeting and saving up for some items I want in the future. How effective are budget jars and such for saving up money? (i.e. $100/paycheck and such)

Lol thanks to your aggressive advertising, I'm gonna start an account with SoFi when I get paid

Yeah from what I can tell, SunTrust really isn't the best option for it

That's true. I'll see what my bank offers in terms of savings and I'll go from there

Lol I get that with how passionate I am on some subjects. I'm looking at saving up and getting a new game console and a motorcycle. Would you recommend SoFi or Ally for that?

I'm in GA, never heard of SoFi, but that's amazing interest. I'mma have to look into them

I think you guys have swayed my opinion. I'll see about setting up a savings account when I get paid next. Any recommendations or does mileage vary?

Yeah, I'm wanting to save up for a new game console and a motorcycle. I thought about opening up a savings account, but wasn't sure how simple it was to switch money between my primary and savings accounts
