I thought this might be a good place to ask something like this.
I'm visually impaired so I walk/bus everywhere. As a result, I often come across homeless or people who can't afford cars (or don't drive them for whatever reason). So they are walking/bussing everywhere too. I live in Florida which can be pretty rainy.
I always have an umbrella on me, but often I see people without them and I'd like to carry an extra to hand out when I see someone without one.
However I'm also poor as hell and even at WalMart umbrellas are around $10. With the amount of people I see without them I'm sure to need a few at least. I don't have $100 a month to spend on supplying umbrellas :(
I'm going to check at thrift stores, but I'd like to know if anyone knows of a cheap umbrella. Even if it lasts a short time, maybe someone will be a little less wet and miserable in a storm. Thank you!
