Cheap way to seal windows for winter
Post Body

I did this in college, when windows were never well taken care of, but we still had to pay for heat. I just used it for a couple of old windows in my house that can't be replaced this season. I use home-made play-dough as caulking. It scrapes off easily in the spring, and leaves no marks. The recipe I followed: http://musingssahm.com/2012/02/easy-homemade-playdough-recipe/ Now, it will shrink, so wait and apply another layer. It's pliable enough to do so, or add more water or oil. Fantastic!
