Hey guys,

So I've recently joined AmeriCorps and I'll be starting next month in Longmont, CO. relocating from Norfolk, VA. Aside from the rewarding experience this coming year is sure to offer, one of the main reasons I signed up is because I've been unemployed for six months and this was an opportunity to get working again, even if for a meager wage. Well, I'm looking at travel options for me and my cat, train and plane are probably the best bet, but I was wondering if you guys have any advice for the cheapest way to get me, my lil buddy and my clothes over there. They reimburse my expenses eight weeks after I start, but that doesn't do me any good in actually getting there. So, what sites, what deals... anything do you guys know of that can help me get this going...
