If you think your shower hose needs to be replaced, you might be able to get more use out of it by removing it and reattaching it the other way round

Our shower hose falls into a 90° bend above the taps, due to the way the taps and shower head are arranged, and this is the part which starts to block the water flow after a while, but today I discovered that the hose works like new if I turn it around and reattach it :)
