What are your go-to projects/apps to build when learning a framework?
Post Body
My question isn't how to learn a framework, but say you need to learn framework X over the next couple weeks, whether for personal projects or investigation/evaluation for a work project. Do you have any go-to apps to build to get a good feel for what a framework is like? I find todo list apps a bit too simplistic and don't give me a feel for anything more than the general syntax used. I'm always the kind of guy that can build something he's told to but I can't come up with anything myself.
