Turrets turning inward and can’t fire,

I made a ship with two main turrets, and a structure in between them. Sometimes a turret will get stuck trying to turn inward in order to get an enemy on the other side and gets stuck there, when it ideally should be taking the long way around, on average one of these turrets gets stuck like this per test battle, any idea how to fix this?
