Have seen this game for awhile and me and a friend have some interest in this, but I wanted to clarify a few things with the community before taking the dive.
We noticed that the coop campaign has the ability to form alliances and such, does this mean that the ai factions also expand and wage war amongst one another or can be directed to sort of do so or is it player faction vs the AI's?
Are resources needed to be extracted, IE drilling rigs and all that sort of thing for both sea and land etc?
I understand the learning curve is quite vast. But these two details would likely push me to take the plunge personally, was just hoping for some information on the game mechanics that people find intriguing or at the least pushed them personally to make the purchase.
