So I'm a fairly new player (got back into the game a couple of weeks ago and got around 100hours into it since then) and am trying to get into the campaign (standard settings, easy mode) and all goes OK up until the DWG sends in an albacore and I get absolutely rolled. It's happened 3x already, started over each time trying to do things differently, with different types of ships etc. But even in designer, I simply can't seem to take down an albacore no matter what I do.

Long story short, what would be your advice to take down the albacore ? I tend to build a mix of CRAM and APS or simply CRAM, most of my ships have 2-3 multiple firing piece cannons
