Trap the monsters

The monsters seem to pursue anyone who is outside without fear of harm. With that being said you could lead them into a room then close the doors on both sides with talismans on the other side. Similar to the house party episode where they took shelter in the front room of the house when they noticed they were cornered. The roles would be reversed in this situation. Maybe if they were able to keep the monsters there until sunrise they may be vulnerable.
