So just had a mandatory zoom meeting saying how we have to start recording our time different here in a few weeks when sales hub rolls out in our area.
I'm still kinda confused, because my sales hub app has always been blank in the year I've been here. No one's bothered to ever put anything in. I always have to use the Salesforce app to put my time in. (even if you try to use sales hub it always redirects you to Salesforce when you click on timecard.)
They said the phones should already have updated to sales hub but my company phone still has the original one and it's not on the Frito-Lay catalog to even download the sales hub or update the original sales hub to the . They said it should auto update. But the evening before we have to sync our timecard . Like I've never had to do that. I just put my time in for the week and hit submit and it's always went thru.
I don't even bother bringing my iPhone to work with me. It's a bunch of bs for them to track us. I know my routes and what time to start and meet up with my RSR and go from there. So we always meet at the first store at the same time and go from there. Then when I get finished and come home I put my time in. I start at the same time every day and work around 8 hours...so I pretty well know my hours.
I saw in this zoom meeting they had a screenshare of a bulle point presentation and it showed like options for 'checking into and out' of each store plus taking a meal break.... I've never had to do that. I've just shown up to my first store...worked, drove to other stores, worked, and came home and put my time in for the day under 'hours worked' start time X:XX end time X:XX and that's it.
Should I be concerned my sales hub app hasn't updated to the like they said should have happened. Like is this going to make it harder on me and easier on them to micromanage? Like am I gonna have to actually start "checking in" when I go to every stop so they know where I am every second and I can't just put my time in at the end of the day like I've been doing with no problems. Like I have enough stuff to bring so a stupid company phone is just one more thing I don't need. I use it basically to look at email and put my time in at the end of the day and submit at the end of the week and that's it.
