Ever asked and gotten an honest answer as to why they wouldn't date you?

A lot of women seem very uncomfortable answering this. Maybe they say they don't want to hurt feelings but often the guy is in a situation where he honestly has no idea what he is doing wrong and will continue to get the same vague reaction from the next girl and the next girl. If this girl really wants to be of value to you as a friend as she says she does then has anyone gotten that honest advice as to why you struck out with her?
