I’ve (F47) been best friends with “Cindy” since I was 16 and she was 20. We did everything together. We traveled. Partied. Shopped. Dined. Spent tons of time at each other’s house. We were there when we each had kids and we leaned on each other during our individual failed marriages. She eventually settled down with and had a small wedding with her new hubby. I wasn’t told or invited to it and only knew cause of pics I saw on social media. I was hurt…but I called and congratulated them. She said it was a small affair, just their immediate family so I accepted her explanation and our friendship continued. Now honestly we haven’t been as close as we were say a decade ago cause of our individual lives and families and jobs etc BUT I always considered her my bestie. She and her hubby had a vow renewal, this time in full bridal style with bridesmaids and groomsmen and wedding guests and AGAIN she didn’t bother to tell me about it. I had literally ran into her some weeks ago, and she said nothing. I saw the pics on social media again. I’m thinking that I’m obviously the only one still counting her as a “best friend” and she clearly doesn’t feel the same. I wanted to call her but I didn’t want to ruin her honeymoon time. It’s been a few weeks and she still hasn’t said anything. I think I’m just going to go LC with her. WIBTA?
