What I have learned after not being chosen as a groomsman (or bridesmaid)
Post Body
- Close friendship is not good enough to be chosen as their groomsman (or bridesmaid).
- They have to consider you their family for it to happen.
- If their decision of not making you a groomsman (or bridesmaid) hurts you, it means you overvalued that friendship.
- You can be a kind person while changing your mind on choosing them as your future groomsmen (bridesmaid).
- This is not seeking revenge on them.
- Their fiancé(e) probably doesn't like you if you are not made their groomsman (or bridesmaid).
- You should consider forgiving them and still show up to their wedding.

Something that makes me sad is that Im a guy (gay so dont start saying anything weird) and my best friend is a girl, and i HATE that i wont be apart of her wedding party one day LOL.
However i totally get it! Her groom, whoever he is, likely has a whole bunch of his own friends family etc and who am i to take that spot! Just a little sad to think ab.

I didnt mean not invited to wedding! Invited to be a groomsmen, sorry I thought it was clear (wedding party is not the wedding, its the groomsmen, bridesmaids, and couple)
