What would you do if you got a friend birthdays gifts, their birthday was all the way back in July, and they still haven't made time to see you?

I have a bag full of birthday presents, a hand made card, etc. for a friend of mine in my closet. I keep asking her when she is going to be able to meet with me so I can give them to her finally. She says to me that she is sorry for being so flakey yet we can never make a time to see one another. I get that she is busy sometimes with working and having 4 kids. Still I just want to give her her birthday presents. I've debated and wondered if maybe I should just unwrap them. Maybe put the books I got her into the free libraries. Maybe donate the Stitch stuff to the thrift store. I just I don't know. I don't want to feel like a massive piece of shit for doing that. That or as soon as I get rid of her gifts she actually makes time and has a plan.

I can see on Instagram that she clearly has time to worry about the neighbors and their Halloween decorations. That they got news coverage and she wants to have cool decorations like them. Yet she can't make time for a friend? I don't know. All I get are apologies for being flakey but no plan to just meet up. I get that it's hard having 4 kids and a job. I tell her when I am free and where we can meet up. It never gets past that point. It's just I don't know something feels off. I feel like I should just let this go and forget about seeing her again.
