To start from the beginning.... Last year, my first year of college, I was in a friend group with 3 other people. This one girl (N) always seemed to have a problem with me. She wouldn't want to hang out with me one on one, or even look at me.
There was one situation where she was being possessive over her friend (D), and I was talking to D about it and mentioned that N was being very immature for a college student. I wasn't being malicious about it, just stating my opinion. Well, D told N, and twisted it out of context. N didn't take it very well, but refused to talk about it, or work through our issues. I later learned that N was saying some pretty nasty shit about me behind my back. At this point, I was fed up, and told her that I didn't want to hang out with her anymore (best thing I did).
Now, I no longer interact with her....but my friend (O) is her roommate. I am always wary of going into their apartment bc idk if she's there, and she makes me uncomfortable. I've learned that she is saying nasty shit about me again to the other roommates.
So, I'm asking, how to best approach this situation. Should I talk to her about it? Just avoud her? I want to make it less toxic so I don't have to worry about running into her
Thank you
