Before I post a picture that includes my friend, I always ask if they approve of it beforehand. Do they like the pic of themselves before I take it up on myself to post it for the public eye? I think it is proper etiquette. My friend has posted pics of me in the past that I hated. I thought that by setting the example by asking her first before I posted a pic of her, that she would start doing the same for me. She has not and keeps posting pics of me without my approval. Am I in the wrong here? Should I just not care? Should I just straight up say, can you check with me first before posting a pick? How does she not get that in the first place? 🙄🙄
Update: I did talk with her about it. I told her that I really appreciated when people asked my approval and consent before posting pictures of me, just as I do for them. She took our conversation to heart, apologized and said that she didn't realize that I might dislike a picture so much. She said she thinks of me as the "pretty" friend and thinks I look great in all the pics. Still, she seemed to realize that her opinion isn't the only one that matters if a pic is good or bad. Thanks for all your advice! Have a good day!
