How to prepare rice for frying
Post Body
So I'm pretty good with the actual frying of the rice but where I struggle is in the prep of the rice. I know to use day old rice but what's the best method and process for cooking the rice beforehand when you know it'll be used for fried rice? Do you boil or steam it? I don't have a rice cooker so I'll have to do it the old fashioned way. What ratio of water:rice is best for fried rice? How long do you cook it for? Do you do anything after it's cooked and before your store it in the fridge?
