Okay so me and my fiancé have been looking to get another dog for months now, originally looking to adopt but unfortunately almost all local adoptions are pit bulls. Which I love them and have had them in past but land lords here won’t rent to you. I’ve had the money saved on the side for new pup. Today I found the cutest little Frenchie and I think it stole my heart for a moment staring at me and pawing at me from her crate. I’m almost, 90%?, sure I’m running back there to grab her. I’m only hesitant because now I keep reading EVERYWHERE that I need to expect monthly vet bills and monthly prescriptions for allergies, nose/ear infections, bad stomachs and stomach infections etc. how likely is this? I get the whole bread with the “smush face” adding to the likelihood. I guess I’m wondering how many here agree and have had these problems? It’s not that I CANT do it or be unwilling to get the help. It’s just not something I’m loving to hear. Any advise or words of experience welcome
