College Freshman Catching up with French
Post Body

Hi! I am a little worried about preparing for French classes in college.

I took French through all of high school and middle school and have visited France twice and made good friends. Heck I even got a 5 on the AP test!

Since then I took a gap year and have barely practiced French, and only by reading and speaking. None of my attention was on writing. This especially worries me because the class I signed up for is a 300 level class, and presumably other students will have been writing essays in French for a while, when the first one I wrote was a year ago and maybe a week before the AP test.

The good news is that theres 3 weeks until classes start and I quit my job so I have a lot of free time.

What would you recommend to help me fix my grammar? How do you improve your writing level on your own?

Thank you!
