Poems translations, how accurate is google translate and is it better to just convert one words at a time and connect it together for more accuracy
Post Body

I’m looking and translating French poems on google translate. I would personally translate the first line of text as ‘In the night of winter’. But as you can see google put ‘In the winter night’ Is my translation more accurate? Or is it punctually incorrect in English so they switched the wording around on google to make it correct in English? Or is it that google translate isn’t accurate on translating and it’s better to translate the poems myself word by word and then connect it into a sentence instead of doing it in paragraphs
