Originally I had to type the text for this sentence. I usually do voice to text on my phone, and I screwed up because it entered "crois," which is why I'm now prompted only for crains. But I don't understand the rest of the sentence.
Why crains, a verb, to express a condition? (Craindre = to worry. Avoir peur = to be fearful or to have worry.) Why "ne sois" without "pas?" Why a negative at all, which to my mind means you're not worried about being late (or maybe worried about not being late)?
Google Translate suggested the way I would have written it, and when I entered Duo's French, wouldn't give me Duo's English prompt.
Comment dit-on, "What the F?"
