Okay I’m strapping in because I know this is going to bother most of you load reposters because that’s what you are. You repost someone else’s customers loads and keep 3% of the profits cuz you gotta share the pie with your account rep, the trackers, accounting etc etc
I see a lot of covid brokers and people that started in 2018/2019 saying “fcfs doesn’t give detention”
Okay so let me start by saying, I am a broker, a real broker, a problem solver, not a load reposter and you are a dumbass. I AM NOT A DRIVER.
FIRST COME FIRST SERVE, does not mean if you don’t want to get detained go in early. It means the facility does NOT operate via appointment times.
First come first serve facilities definitely pay detention. It means fcfs when you check in, so for example if John shows up 5 minutes before Mike but Mike is saying his load is important, it doesn’t matter because John got there first.
FCFS IS THE ORDER THEY WILL TAKE YOU IN.
DETENTION IS STILL VALID, first 2 hours are free not 3. Covid brokers made up the 3 free hours rule thing in 2021.
It’s the facilities choice to operate through apts or fcfs. Your driver checking in and wasting time on site still counts for detention.
Obviously produce and other certain things don’t. But FIRST COME FIRST SERVE DOESNT MEAN YOU DONT OWE DETENTION YOU DICKHEAD.
Anyway. 13-14 year veteran here, with heavy customers, waiting to see the covid brokers argue
Detention hours are after the first 2 hours, not 3, I agree, but is that just an unwritten law, or is it law?
