Good morning / afternoon to all. I had been doing analytics for 1.5 years and was not for me. I decided to make a move and l've been in logistic sales as I enjoy the relationship side of things rather than just plugging in numbers and being a mute all day. I am in with a company that has a TMS side that helps out the brokerage with decent sized clients. I am being promised for meeting all metrics I will be "set up". As we all know this is the cool aid I'm being fed, and I think I'm starting to see I will only really make it, if it's from what I land, which is what I'm wanting. That being said, I get no direction. I have friends making 2-400k in solar, some making that in software, and some in insurance. I have accumulated 11 clients in my entire first 8 months of sales. My book is between 10-15k GP a month after 8 months. I am wondering if this is good, bad, terrible? I get no direction as they really only focus on the guys running 2-400k in GP a month. Rightfully so, but just wondering what everyone's take is on this industry, should I make a switch into the door to door now that I know how to close? Really just confused on where I stand and hoping to get some advice from some people with more experience. Thanks in advance. Really appreciate it. Have a great Monday!
