I've been working as a customer rep since September. I really enjoyed the early months and saw a little success, but have not had the results that I want to see (and now am starting to enter the scary area because I'm not hitting expectations.) I know the things I have not done well enough are coming back to bite me in the ass (not enough prospecting calls, getting stuck on the same dead end leads for too long, getting bogged down in trivial operational stuff) and I am worried that I don't have the pipeline to close a few more customers in the immediate future to get the monkey off my shoulders. Is it worth scrapping and clawing to keep this job when I'm now starting to hate it in entirety? I feel like the timing entering the industry is just so piss poor and it may just not be meant to be.
