I'm an AM for a small-ish brokerage. I got hired last November at $64K. My goal is to get to at least $100K in the next two years. My company doesn't have a formal sales division, so I was hoping to discuss this with my boss and possibly be the guinea pig for a sales role. I've seen a few people here that they're in the six figure range, which gives me hope.
What about you folks? What kind of money do you make brokering freight, what is your technical title, etc. Anyone making six figs or in a sales role, how did you start up? How long did it take you to get to that level of success?? I think these types of conversations empower people to make more. This is a trillion dollar industry, we should all be making our mint!
