In Search of Reasons Discourse: China is preparing to invade, this is undeniable from it's military build up, but the target is not Taiwan - it is Siberia.

Post Body

China is buying all this military hardware not to invade Taiwan, especially after what it saw happen in Ukraine, but to invade Siberia, with the aim to annex the Eastern half of it for the following benefits:

  1. In the global warming world, Siberia will provide vast amounts of arable lands, so that China can finally become food sufficient.
  2. All the natural resources therein that China needs: natural gas, oil, precious metals, even just the wood for logging and construction.
  3. A port on the Arctic Sea: in the warming world, the Arctic Sea may become a year round warm water port. If this is true, then a port on the Arctic Sea will allow China to sling its shitty goods to the world for half the transportation costs, because 80% of the world lives in the Northern Hemisphere, and will allow China to skip the Western controlled Indian Ocean and east/western Pacific Rim.

The invasion is also much easier than an amphibious assault on Taiwan for the following reasons:

  1. China has never amphibiously done anything. However, it has plenty of experience rushing across a land border and pushing to the end (Korea War, lesser extent Vietnamese War).
  2. Russia's defenses and reinforcements can be crippled by merely shutting down a few railways, which China can decimate with its Rocket Force and hypersonic missiles.
  3. The West is not going to help Russia resist China as much as it would help Taiwan, if it even offers Russia any aid at all.
  4. China has causus belli, at least to Russia, for the same reasons that Russian justified its invasion of Ukraine. China actually has a stronger claim here, because the Asian populations in Siberia are much more friendly to their Chinese neighbors who they trade with than the Slav overlords in Moscow, that only pay attention to them when it needs warm bodies for some foreign European conflict. China can legitimately claim that it is liberating oppressed ethnic Chinese peoples from Russian oppression. Shit, to be funny, they could literally just parrot Putin's speeches in 2014 when he took Crimea.

What do you guys think of this theory?
