Now that I have just rewatched the Moon Dance episode, the series has lost a little of it's polish. I know fiction is supposed to explore the realms of the fantastical and the absurd. But there needs to be some tether to a sense of reality to sell it to an audience. Especially something as high brow as Frasier.
Here is my sticking point, how did Daphne read Niles' declaration of love for her as "acting" LOL That kiss, his entire demeanor. The " I'm a changed man" that entire exchange was just for them. Also, Daphne is a self prophesed psychic. And we have seen evidence that there might be some merit to her claims of supernatural powers. But this undermines all of that, don't you think?
This doesn't play for so many reasons.
