Changing displayed text

I have a list of quotes/messages that I would love to scroll through on my landing page. Is there a way to use monks' active tiles or something similar to change some displayed text on click or every 15 seconds etc?
The closest option I've found so far is creating images of the text and using monks to run through those images with a click. If there is a way to do it with a text box it would be a lot faster to input all the quotes!
